The surgery went well as far as I've been told. I had a horribly sore throat following the surgery, and I hadn't a clue why. I ended up talking to my grandma and DUH, they probably had a breathing tube down my throat during surgery. Last night I came home to find a man in my bed! Woohoo! My guard and I were watching Transformers before I left for class, and when I had to leave he wanted to stay and finish the movie. After venting yesterday I was able to calm down a bit and rationalize. I made it into a positive thing, because it prompted me to look for new car insurance (Mercury expires this month for me anyway). Apparently my pap smear from last week came back showing low grade squamous intraepithelial lesions. Basically, abnormal growth and changing of the cells in my uterus. There's a small chance it could be cancerous. I have to go in to a specialist and have a colposcopy - which is supposedly just like a pap smear with a microscope. How fun. I get ( Read more... )
